PROFESSIONAL SNOWBOARDER
For 12 years Margarette Johannes has snowboarded proficiently. An international career which took off in earnest beginning in December, 2000, catapulted Johannes to spend the past three seasons traveling to snowboard some of the world's most extreme mountain pitches including Alaska, France's Aguille Midi, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Some runs consisted of 78 degree pitches at 8 feet in width, others incorporate park style tactics. With national events under her belt, Johannes is still hungry for international exposure and recognition in big mountain and backcountry snowboarding.
